Which radios are supported?

Other radios that use the same Benshi Bluetooth control protocol are likely to work but are not yet confirmed.

The app won't connect to my radio

No repeaters are showing up

Do I have to pay?

Finding and browsing repeaters is always free — search, the map, adding your own repeaters. Programming a repeater to your radio (one-tap programming, simplex presets, manual channels, backups, arranging channels) needs a one-time or yearly purchase, made through the App Store or Google Play. If you've already purchased and it's not unlocking, try Restore Purchase on the purchase screen, or reinstall the app.

Does the app need an internet connection?

No. The repeater database, the maps, and search all work with no signal once the app is installed. Once you've purchased radio-programming access, that stays unlocked with no signal too — the app only checks the App Store's or Play Store's own on-device purchase record, never a server of ours. Nothing you enter and nothing the app reads from your phone is ever sent anywhere.

How do I undo a change to my radio?

Before you program anything, use Save a backup on the Radio Backups screen. That stores a dated snapshot of the whole radio. You can restore any backup later from the same screen.

Programming put a channel in the wrong slot

Use the channel-slot picker when programming a single repeater to choose the exact slot. For bulk programming, pick the starting slot and channel group first. If something still lands wrong, email us with the repeater, the slot you expected, and the slot it used.
